The Senate has commenced the debate of the 2016 Appropriation Bill (Budget) presented to it by President Muhmmadu Buhari on December 22 2015. It will be recalled that the Senate yesterday accepted and adopted the alteration of the Budget by the President.
According to Buhari in a letter he sent to the upper chamber, figures in the budget remains intact despite alterations.
