One of the terrorists listed among 100 most wanted Boko Haram members has been arrested on his way to Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
The terrorist identified as Jarasu Shira was on Wednesday morning arrested at a motor park in Damboa while waiting to connect a vehicle to Biu en route Lagos.
Shira who is number one on the new list of wanted men by the Nigeria military was operating in Damboa, Chibok and Askira axis of Borno State. He was arrested alongside 10 other suspected members of the group by men of the vigilante (Civilian Joint Task Force, JTF).
The suspects were said to have been handed over to military authorities in Biu, Borno state.
